The father’s company has sent him to work in California for five years. Before he begins his job, he and the family take a trip around the country to see key places. This is an excellent publication to use in schools or on a personal basis with one’s children, helping them see the world through the eyes of others. And if they are preparing to visit any of these sights, this work serves as a wonderful preparation.
The love of children and deep appreciation for education compelled Lois L. Williams's aspiration to become a teacher.
She earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s Degree in Education from Wayne State University and a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Michigan. Now retired, she counts herself truly blessed for having been given the privilege to shape, mentor, and touch the lives of thousands of elementary school children during her career as teacher and administrator.
She has traveled extensively throughout the U.S., Europe, Soviet Union, Australia, New Zealand, and South America. The love of traveling and her desire to share her travel experiences with children inspired Lois to write this book.
