This book is for all of those grandmothers, and grandfathers, too, who have
taken on the awesome responsibility of raising their grandchildren. No
matter the reason, they have assumed the challenge when they were ready to
rest and focus more on their personal lives. They have made their
grandchildren a major part of their personal lives; these loved ones have
become their key focus. This book provides poems that will lift the spirit
of those wonderful grandparents. Also, there are poems that will speak to
the grandchildren. LEGACY OF A GRANDMOTHER is a true tribute to the very
special people who have shaped the lives of many young people when their
parents were not able to do so. These poems clearly provide comfort and a
salutation to those very special grands who have gone beyond the "call of
duty" and have instilled their legacy of responsibility, care, and love to
those they have nurtured.
